Trades Win Support (Skills for Change)

A Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade funded bridging program  for internationally trained electricians, millwrights, refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics and plumbers. This intensive course helps skilled trades people become licensed and job ready to work in Ontario.

The program includes employment preparation with trade specific technical and workplace language training,  job search strategies and labour market information. A six-week Certificate of Qualification preparation course taught by qualified instructors at Humber College and Stanford College covers Canadian codes, rules and regulations, technical skills upgrading, and exam strategies for test taking.
